Description

A delicious twist on the classic Big Mac, this pasta salad combines all the flavors of a Big Mac in a refreshing and easy-to-make dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat and let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cooked beef, cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, dill pickles, and cheddar cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for beef and Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
  • For added crunch, toss in some crushed potato chips just before serving.
