Description

A delicious and flavorful Bourbon Peach Glazed Salmon recipe that elevates your dinner with a sweet and tangy glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1 cup fresh peaches, diced
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the diced peaches, bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peaches are soft and the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, brush the bourbon peach glaze over the salmon fillets. Allow it to caramelize slightly on the grill.
  5. Remove the salmon from the grill and drizzle any remaining glaze over the top. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze while cooking.
  • Substitute the peaches with other fruits like mango or pineapple for a different flavor profile.
