- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Spread the Cajun honey butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase the amount of Cajun seasoning or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the butter mixture.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of rice or alongside grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
