Description
A simple and delicious recipe for cheeseburger sliders that are perfect for parties or family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 12 slider buns
- 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
- Ketchup and mustard, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined.
- Press the beef mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through. Remove from the oven and drain any excess fat.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally.
- Place the bottom halves of the buns in the baking dish. Layer the cooked beef evenly over the buns, then top with the halved cheese slices.
- Place the top halves of the buns on the cheese.
- Return the sliders to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are slightly toasted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Cut the sliders into individual portions and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture or top the sliders with spicy mustard.
- You can substitute the cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese, such as pepper jack or Swiss, for a different flavor profile.
