Description

A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring ground beef, broccoli, and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup cooked rice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in the salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well to combine.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and beef broth to the skillet. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.
  5. If using, stir in the cooked rice until well combined.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a healthier version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
  • Add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra color and nutrition.
