Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat.
- In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and shredded carrots. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to create the bang bang sauce. Adjust the sriracha to your desired spice level.
- To assemble the bowls, start with a base of jasmine rice. Top with the sautéed chicken and vegetables. Drizzle with the bang bang sauce and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful bang bang chicken bowl!
Notes
- For a healthier option, substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter sauce.
- Add your favorite vegetables such as bell peppers or snap peas for extra color and nutrition.
