Description

A delicious and flavorful Bang Bang Chicken Bowl featuring tender chicken, sautéed vegetables, and a spicy bang bang sauce served over jasmine rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat.
  2. In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and shredded carrots. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to create the bang bang sauce. Adjust the sriracha to your desired spice level.
  4. To assemble the bowls, start with a base of jasmine rice. Top with the sautéed chicken and vegetables. Drizzle with the bang bang sauce and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful bang bang chicken bowl!

Notes

  • For a healthier option, substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter sauce.
  • Add your favorite vegetables such as bell peppers or snap peas for extra color and nutrition.
