- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup croutons (optional)
- Extra Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown.
- On two slices of toasted bread, layer the chopped romaine lettuce and the chicken mixture evenly.
- Top with halved cherry tomatoes and croutons if using.
- Place the remaining slices of toasted bread on top to form sandwiches.
- If desired, sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of Caesar dressing.
