Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
- Spread the ketchup evenly over the top and sprinkle the brown sugar on top of the ketchup for added sweetness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
