Description

Crispy Baked Zucchini Chips are a delicious and healthy snack that are easy to make and perfect for satisfying your cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the zucchini slices with salt and let them sit for about 10 minutes to draw out moisture. Pat the slices dry with paper towels.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the zucchini slices and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Dredge each zucchini slice in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1.5 hours, flipping the chips halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding Italian seasoning or smoked paprika to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • You can also experiment with different cheeses, such as cheddar or nutritional yeast for a vegan option.
  • For a spicier kick, sprinkle some cayenne pepper into the breadcrumb mix.
