Description
A refreshing and healthy treat made with fresh strawberries and Greek yogurt, perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Gently fold in the sliced strawberries until they are evenly coated with the yogurt mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the strawberry-yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt bites are completely frozen.
- Once frozen, remove the bites from the baking sheet and store them in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in a tablespoon of lemon zest or a handful of mini chocolate chips.
- Substitute the strawberries with other fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or diced peaches for a different taste.
