Description

A refreshing and healthy treat made with fresh strawberries and Greek yogurt, perfect for a snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries until they are evenly coated with the yogurt mixture.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon or a small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the strawberry-yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt bites are completely frozen.
  5. Once frozen, remove the bites from the baking sheet and store them in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try mixing in a tablespoon of lemon zest or a handful of mini chocolate chips.
  • Substitute the strawberries with other fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or diced peaches for a different taste.
