- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish, pouring any remaining marinade over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
