Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak pieces in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until browned on the other side.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the steak bites in the skillet. Stir to coat the steak evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha or your favorite hot sauce to the honey garlic sauce.
- Serve the steak bites over rice or noodles to create a complete meal.
