Ingredients

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
- Add the egg to the mixture and mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. You should get around 8 patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in some chopped sun-dried tomatoes or olives into the patty mixture.
- Serve the patties with a side of tzatziki sauce or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
