- 2 large cucumbers, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, dried dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl and gently toss to coat them evenly with the dressing.
- If using, sprinkle the chopped chives over the top and give it another gentle toss.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled as a refreshing side dish.

- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for the sour cream and mayonnaise.
