Description

Savory French Dip Sliders are a delicious and easy recipe featuring thinly sliced roast beef and provolone cheese, perfect for a quick meal or gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 package (12 count) slider buns
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced roast beef and cook until just warmed, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Layer the warmed roast beef evenly over the bottom halves of the buns. Top with provolone cheese slices.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns on the cheese, then pour the warm broth mixture evenly over the sliders.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Slice into individual sliders and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce to the beef before adding the cheese.
  • Swap out the provolone for Swiss cheese or cheddar for a different flavor profile.
