Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked crab meat, chopped shrimp, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well-blended and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Lay a small flour tortilla flat, spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the filling into the center, fold the sides over, and roll tightly to form a bomb shape. Seal edges properly.
  3. Heat enough oil in a large skillet to cover the bottom by half an inch over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Test readiness by dropping in a small piece of tortilla.
  4. Carefully place the tortilla bombs into the hot oil, frying in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Monitor to prevent burning.
  5. Remove the tortilla bombs with a slotted spoon, draining on paper towels. Serve hot with zesty salsa or creamy avocado dip.
