Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium heat and add the ground beef and hot sausage. Brown the meats thoroughly for about 8-10 minutes, then drain excess grease.
  2. Once the meats are cooked, add the cubed Velveeta cheese and stir continuously for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts completely.
  3. Add the Worcestershire sauce, oregano, garlic salt, and regular salt to the melted cheese and meat mixture and mix everything thoroughly for about 2 minutes.
  4. Preheat your broiler to high and line a baking tray with party rye bread slices.
  5. Place approximately 2 tablespoons of the meat and cheese mixture onto each slice of rye bread.
  6. Broil the assembled Hanky Panky Appetizers for 2-3 minutes, watching closely as they brown, or bake at 350°F for 15-18 minutes.
  7. Once browned, carefully remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
