  • 4 oz Creamy Cheese (such as goat cheese or sharp cheddar) Choose your favorite

  • 6 slices Thick-cut uncured Bacon Cut in half

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Slice a small slit lengthwise down the center of each Mejool date. Stuff them with your choice of creamy cheese.
  3. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon, seam side down, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the wrapped dates in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Flip them and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the bacon is golden and crisp.
  5. Remove from the oven and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
