  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated in the garlic butter mixture.
  4. Transfer the shrimp mixture to a baking dish, spreading it out in an even layer.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese together. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  7. For an extra crispy topping, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
