Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the pan.
In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Once the skillet is hot, carefully place the salmon fillets in the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice blackened crust.
While the salmon is cooking, prepare the mango salsa. In a medium bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix well and set aside.
Once the salmon is done, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Serve the blackened salmon topped with the fresh mango salsa.
