- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and a pinch of salt until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, beat together 1 cup of softened unsalted butter, ¾ cup of brown sugar, and ½ cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, beating well after each addition.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Mix in 1 cup each of butterscotch chips and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches of space between each.
