Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing at low speed until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows. If using marshmallow fluff, add it now.
  7. Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set and the centers remain soft.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
