  • 2 tablespoons garlic & ginger paste
  • 2 teaspoons spices (cumin, coriander, garam masala) to taste
For the Sauce
  • 1 can coconut milk or heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder adjust to taste
For Serving
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro for garnish
  • 2 cups basmati rice or naan

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine chicken breasts with yogurt, garlic and ginger paste, and spices. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet and sauté onions until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add marinated chicken and cook for about 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Add coconut milk or heavy cream, simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Adjust spices with red chili powder, simmer for another 5 minutes, then serve over rice or with naan.
