Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add orange zest.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, folding in almonds and cranberries.
  6. Divide the dough and form into logs, then place on baking sheets.
  7. Bake logs for 30-35 minutes until golden brown, then let cool for 10 minutes.
  8. Slice the logs diagonally into ½-inch thick pieces and arrange cut-side down.
