Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a medium-sized baking dish.
  2. Steam or blanch your mixed winter vegetables for about 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain thoroughly.
  3. Combine the prepared vegetables with cream of mushroom soup, milk, shredded cheese, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the greased baking dish.
  5. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the vegetable filling.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
  7. Let the casserole sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
