  • 8 oz Cream Cheese cold for easier shaping
  • 1 cup Crab Meat fresh, canned, or imitation, drained thoroughly
  • 2 Stalks Green Onions chopped; can substitute with chives or shallots
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder fresh garlic is a great alternative
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce for umami and saltiness
  • Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Dough Ingredients
  • 1 pkg Biscuit Dough or Wonton Wrappers; flange for different texture
Frying Ingredients
  • Oil for Frying choose according to preferred method

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cold cream cheese, drained crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Lightly flatten each piece of biscuit dough or keep wonton wrappers covered with a damp towel.
  3. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the crab filling into the center of each piece of dough, fold and pinch to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F (175°C). For baking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Fry the assembled bombs for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown, or bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Let cool before serving.
