  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper freshly cracked
For the Honey Mustard Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Dijon Mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup Honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar or white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce to taste

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel. Mix the wings with avocado oil, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Spread the wings in a single layer.
  4. Bake the wings for 45-50 minutes, turning halfway for even cooking.
  5. In a bowl, combine Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce to make the sauce.
  6. Once baked, toss the wings in the honey mustard sauce to coat.
  7. Return coated wings to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  8. Let the wings cool slightly before serving.
