Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar, and whip until smooth and creamy.
  2. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread, add sliced strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam, then top with another slice of bread.
  3. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk until well combined.
  4. Dip each assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s completely coated.
  5. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and fry the coated sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove from skillet, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.
