Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Break the crescent roll dough into triangles and press them into the sides of the prepared springform pan.
  4. Layer half of the coated apples over the crescent dough, followed by another layer of crescent dough, then the rest of the apples, and top with the last piece of dough.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before removing the sides.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with fleur de sel before serving.
