Preparation
- Start by lining an 8 x 6 quarter sheet pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- In a mixing bowl, add softened unsalted butter and beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually sift in powdered sugar and mix on low speed until smooth.
- Blend in blueberry flavor paste along with salt, then add whole milk and beat until smooth and pipeable.
- Spread the blueberry buttercream mixture in the lined pan, smoothing the top, and refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes.
- Lift the buttercream slab from the pan and cut into 1" squares.
- Let the squares dry at room temperature for about 12-24 hours.
- Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each square in the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray to set.
- Allow dipped chocolates to set completely, then transfer to an airtight container.
