Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons for glazing. Stir and add chopped pecans.
  3. Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls onto the baking sheet and separate into triangles.
  4. Scoop 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling onto the wide end of each triangle and roll towards the tip.
  5. Bake for about 8 minutes until beginning to set, then brush with reserved sugar mixture and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving, optionally sprinkle more chopped pecans on top.
