Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, then scramble in a skillet until fully cooked.
- Cook the crumbled breakfast sausage or bacon in the same skillet until browned.
- Flatten each round of refrigerated biscuit dough into a 4-5 inch circle.
- Spoon the egg and sausage mixture into the center of each flattened dough round, topping with cheese.
- Seal the edges of the dough, forming balls with the filling securely inside.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with herbs if desired.
- Bake for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
