Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the uncooked short pasta, marinara sauce, and 3 cups of water or broth in the greased baking dish. Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
  3. Press the frozen meatballs into the pasta mixture, ensuring they are spaced evenly.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35–40 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil, check the pasta for tenderness and add more water or broth if needed.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the casserole and return to the oven for another 10–15 minutes.
  7. Let the casserole cool for 10–15 minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
