Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease three 12-count mini muffin pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Devil's Food cake mix, large eggs, canola oil, and optional black food coloring. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Using a cookie scoop, place approximately 1/2 tablespoon of dough into each muffin cup and flatten gently.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set. Press an indentation into each cookie and let cool.
  5. Beat softened unsalted butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, milk, and green food coloring until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Once cool, fill cookie cups with buttercream using a piping bag.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles, candy eyeballs, and insert a pretzel stick into each cup.
