  • 1 pound Large or Jumbo Shrimp fresh or frozen, thaw properly
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated, can substitute with Grana Padano
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced, fresh is best
  • 4 tablespoons Butter melted, can substitute with olive oil for dairy-free
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or avocado oil as an alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika use smoked paprika for a deeper taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped, for garnish
For Serving
  • 1 whole Lemon cut into wedges for serving

Equipment

Method
 

Prep
  1. Thaw large or jumbo shrimp if frozen, rinse under cold water, and pat dry using paper towels.
  2. Place the prepared shrimp in a bowl and set aside.
Make the Coating
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, garlic, melted butter, and olive oil.
  2. Add paprika and chopped parsley, stir until fully combined.
Coat the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the coating and gently toss until fully covered.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Roast
  1. Spread the coated shrimp evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Roast for about 8-10 minutes until shrimp are opaque and cheese is golden brown.
Serve
  1. Transfer the shrimp to a serving platter, garnish with parsley and lemon wedges, and serve hot.
