For the Sandwich
  • 4 slices Sourdough Bread Can be swapped with ciabatta or a tortilla.
  • 6 slices Turkey Deli Meat Easily interchangeable with chicken or ham.
  • 3 slices Bacon Consider turkey bacon for a healthier twist.
  • 1 fruit Avocado Sliced.
  • 1 cup Romaine Lettuce Feel free to replace with other leafy greens.

Method
 

Prepare Sun-Dried Tomato Aioli
  1. Combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes, and 1 minced garlic clove in a mason jar. Blend until smooth.
Toast the Bread
  1. Preheat toaster or oven to 350°F (175°C). Toast 4 slices of sourdough bread for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Assemble the Layers
  1. Spread sun-dried tomato aioli on one side of each toasted sourdough slice.
Add the Turkey and Bacon
  1. On two slices, layer 3 slices of turkey and 3 bacon strips.
Stack with Vegetables
  1. Add romaine lettuce and avocado slices on top of the bacon.
Complete the Sandwich
  1. Place the second slice of aioli-covered bread on top and cut diagonally in half.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Plate the sandwich alongside chips or a small side salad.
