Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine canned pumpkin, brown sugar, maple flavoring, pumpkin pie spice, and a dash of salt. Whisk until smooth.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pie crust into a rectangle approximately 6x22 inches. Cut the dough into 8 equal rectangles.
  4. Place one dough rectangle on a lined baking sheet. Spoon pumpkin filling into the center, leaving space around edges. Place another dough rectangle on top and seal the edges.
  5. Bake the poptarts for 9-11 minutes until the edges are light golden brown.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, maple flavoring, and milk until smooth. This is your glaze.
