- In a separate bowl, sift together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently.
- Gently fold the sour cream into the batter, ensuring it is evenly mixed in.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar on top, and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Once baked, allow to cool in the dish for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
