Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish with butter.
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix, milk, and eggs. Stir until just combined.
  4. Fold half of the cooked sausage and half of the maple syrup into the pancake batter.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the greased baking dish. Layer the remaining sausage over the batter, then pour the rest of the pancake mixture on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until golden brown on top.
  7. Allow to cool for about 5–10 minutes before serving.
