Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Clean the cremini mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice thinly. Set aside.
  2. In a sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan, sauté for about 4 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  4. Season the mushrooms with kosher salt and black pepper, continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  6. Add fresh spinach to the pan and sauté for about 2 minutes until wilted.
  7. Remove from heat and add lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving if desired.
