  • 1/2 cup Milk or almond milk/vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded) or mozzarella/dairy-free option
  • to taste Salt & Black Pepper
  • 1 cup French Fried Onions or crushed crackers/breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup Mushrooms sauté with the beef
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers various colors for flavor

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup with milk, stirring until smooth.
  5. Add cooked beef mixture, drained green beans, and half of the cheddar cheese to the sauce and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese and French fried onions on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
