Cooking Steps
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and brown for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger to the beef. Sauté for 10-15 seconds.
- Pour in 1 cup of water and sprinkle 0.5 teaspoon of white pepper powder. Stir and cover, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Cook 5 ounces of vermicelli in salted boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of corn flour with 0.5 cup of water to make a slurry. Stir into the beef sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked vermicelli to the beef mixture, toss gently to combine, and garnish with spring onion. Serve hot.
