Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned and no pink remains, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Allow it to melt, then stir in the minced onion, minced garlic, and black pepper. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour over the beef mixture. Stir to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually pour in 2 cups of beef broth while stirring continuously to combine. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes until the gravy thickens.
  5. Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the mixture, stir, and let simmer for an additional minute.
  6. Serve the ground beef and gravy over a bed of mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
