For Grilling
  • 10 pieces Bamboo Skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes.
  • 2 tablespoons Oil Use a light oil for brushing.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mortar and pestle, finely pound the cilantro roots, garlic, and white pepper until it forms a smooth paste.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine this paste with thin soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, granulated sugar, palm sugar, and whole milk. Stir well.
  3. Cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized pieces, and add to the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Soak the bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  5. Thread the marinated pork onto the soaked skewers, packing them closely together.
  6. Preheat your grill to medium heat, approximately 350°F (175°C). Lightly oil the grill grates.
  7. Grill the skewers for about 5 minutes on each side, turning until perfectly charred.
  8. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a minute before serving.
