Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Arrange frozen Italian-style meatballs in a greased slow cooker and pour marinara sauce over them.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until meatballs are hot and tender.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for toasting hoagie buns.
  4. Slice hoagie buns lengthwise, ensuring they open like a book.
  5. Layer two half-slices of mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni, then spoon 6 meatballs and sauce onto each bun.
  6. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella and 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan on top.
  7. Bake for 5-6 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are slightly toasted.
