In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, crumbled bacon, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well and set aside to let the flavors meld.
Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions (about 4 ounces each) and form them into loose balls.
Once the griddle is hot, place the beef balls on it and immediately smash them down with a spatula to form thin patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each one. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the griddle until golden brown.
Assemble the burgers by spreading a generous amount of baconnaise sauce on the bottom bun, adding the cheeseburger patty, and topping with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Finish with the top bun.
