Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Combine cookie mix, beaten egg, and softened butter in a mixing bowl until a soft dough forms.
  3. Press two-thirds of the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the apple pie filling over the pressed dough evenly.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining dough over the apple filling, allowing for gaps.
  6. Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over the top before baking.
  7. Bake for about 50 to 55 minutes, until golden brown and set.
  8. Cool completely in the baking dish on a wire rack before cutting.
  9. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk to prepare the glaze.
