Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low, remove steak to rest, and add 4 minced garlic cloves and 2 tablespoons of honey to the skillet. Stir for 1 minute until garlic is fragrant.
  4. Pour in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Slice the rested steak and add it back to the skillet with the drained pasta. Toss together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired sauce consistency.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil and serve immediately.
