Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber grated and excess moisture squeezed out
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbled (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Add the shredded chicken, red onion, and cherry tomatoes to the bowl. Gently fold the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated with the tzatziki mixture.
  3. If using, sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top and gently mix it in.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if desired.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
