  1. Begin by patting the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season each fillet generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large non-stick pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Place the fillets skin-side down once the oil shimmers.
  3. Cook salmon for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until flakes easily.
  4. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium and add orange juice, honey, soy sauce, orange zest, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water and slowly add to the sauce. Stir until slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
